- Fewer than 20% of healthcare organizations have governance policies in place for using generative AI, according to a recent Wolters Kluwer Health survey. In addition, the company announced announced UpToDate Enterprise Edition will be available in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa this fall.
- The latest report from Incredible Health found 85% of nurses want more training on how to use AI. They’re most optimistic about AI’s potential to save time on administrative tasks and increase process efficiency.
- Only 29% of organizations are prepared for AI-powered cybersecurity threats, according to a LevelBlue survey of healthcare executives. More broadly, 46% of orgs are experiencing a significantly higher volume of attacks.
- Meanwhile, cyberattacks have disrupted patient care for 19% of organizations, according to an Omega Systems survey. Not coincidentally, a similar percentage say they lack a current or effective incident response plan.
- A Wondr Health survey found employees say paid time off is the best way to manage stress and anxiety – but 62% of workers don’t use all their allotted PTO.
