Walkenhorst Motorsport will embark on a largely unchanged program for its second season with Aston Martin, which will include GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS and the Nürburgring 24.

The Melle-based squad completed a first season with the British brand last year, which came after it previously spent over a decade racing BMW machinery.

For 2025, the team will work through a “broadly comparable” effort in GT3 competition, with the main pillars of its program consisting of GTWC Europe and the N24.

Last year, the team fielded three cars in Endurance Cup, with a Pro entry piloted by David Pittard, Ross Gunn and Henrique Chaves finishing fourth in the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

Similarly to fellow Aston squad Comtoyou Racing, Walkenhorst is set to continue its presence in the Pro class, while its Silver and Bronze Cup entries will also remain.

Additionally, an expansion into the Sprint Cup also remains under consideration, with that potentially being chosen over a continuation of its ADAC GT Masters efforts.

Walkenhorst will also retain a multi-car presence at the Nordschleife, tackling both the Nürburgring 24 as well as “corresponding preparation races.”

The team wrote in a statement that the lineups for a Pro entry, as well as an Am car, have already been put in place while discussions for its Pro-Am lineup remain ongoing.
