Lewis Hamilton will reunite with his long-time trainer Angela Cullen in Formula 1 this season, as she forms part of the backroom team he is putting in place for his new life at Ferrari.
Cullen is best known for the partnership she formed with Hamilton from the start of 2016, having got to know him the previous year when she first began working at the famous Hintsa Performance company.
The pair became close during his run of titles at Mercedes, but they went their separate ways at the start of the 2023 season.
Writing on social media at the time, Hamilton said: "For the last seven years Angela has been by my side, pushing me to be the best version of myself. I am a stronger athlete and a better person because of her.
"So today I hope you'll join me in wishing her the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams. Thank you for everything Ang, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you."
Cullen moved to IndyCar where she linked up with fellow New Zealander Marcus Armstrong, the former Ferrari Academy driver who has for 2025 switched to the Meyer Shank Racing team.
Earlier this year, Cullen prompted intrigue about a potential reunion with Hamilton when she posted an image on Instagram.
Dressed all in red, the selfie of her on a ski slope featured a red flag in the background that displayed Hamilton's 44 race number.
Since the image was posted, Cullen's social media accounts have been deleted - although the reasons for this are not clear.
News of Hamilton working once again with Cullen comes as he begins his new life as a Ferrari driver.
The seven-time champion arrived at the team's Maranello base on Monday and is set for his first test in a Ferrari F1 car later this week.
