‘Snake behavior’ – Fans stunned as Liam Coen inexplicably spurs Tampa for Jacksonville in crazy turn of events

Since then, owner Shad Khan and Baalke agreed to ‘mutually’ part ways. Baalke is out, and now Coen looks to be in. Coen had informed the Jaguars on Wednesday he was staying in Tampa on a new massive new contract extension that would have made him the highest paid offensive coordinator. But then Baalke left Duval County and that changed everything. Khan and the Jags reached back out to Coen to see if he would reconsider. It looks like he has. Coen is in Jacksonville talking to Khan about becoming the next head coach of the Jaguars. ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that the Bucs have been trying to reach Coen and have made multiple efforts in doing so, but he has not made contact with them. While it may look like Coen is doing the Bucs dirty by ignoring them, he is simply taking care of his business. Coen was the brains behind Baker Mayfield’s best year in the NFLGetty Pro Football Network’s Mike Florio posted on social media stating that Tampa deserves zero sympathy. “Let’s be clear on one thing: The Bucs aren’t victims here,” Florio posted on X. “They have a history of abruptly changing coaches when it suits their interests. “Liam Coen has every right to reverse course if he chooses.” It seems like Coen has done exactly that. While the Buccaneers themselves have had no contact on Thursday with Coen or his representation, sources told ESPN that Coen did in fact reach out to Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles let him know that he would be going back to interview with Jacksonville And so the plot thickens. It seems all but done between Coen and the Jaguars. Bucs fans aren’t taking the news well, referring to Coen’s actions as ‘snake behavior’ on social media. A win for Duval County, is a massive loss for their fellow Floridian city below. Pro Football Network’s Mike Florio posted on social media stating that Tampa deserves zero sympathy.
