Of course, if you want to turn this mocktail into a full-on adult beverage, you can replace the sparkling water with champagne or prosecco. Don’t worry—your secret is safe with me!

Ingredients

  • Medium orange
  • Grated fresh ginger (Pro tip: use a microplane to zest a frozen piece of peeled ginger root)
  • Pomegranate juice (no sugar added)
  • Unflavored sparkling water
  • Pomegranate arils (optional garnish)

How to make pomegranate orange mocktail

Peel the zest off the orange using a vegetable peeler. Make sure you don’t scrape too deep ’cause the white stuff’s bitter.

Reserve a few pieces of zest for garnish and add the rest to a large pitcher. Juice the orange…
