Noom Partners with LillyDirect to Streamline Access to Zepbound® for Weight Management

– Noom, a digital healthcare company focused on chronic disease prevention and empowering healthy living announced an agreement with Gifthealth, the LillyDirect® pharmacy provider of Eli Lilly and Company. 

– The collaboration aims to simplify access to FDA-approved Zepbound® (tirzepatide) single-dose vials for Noom’s members who have an on-label prescription from their physician.

Evolving Noom’s Weight Management Approach:

This integration represents an evolution of Noom’s comprehensive approach to weight management. By enabling a streamlined solution for members prescribed FDA-approved medications, Noom is enhancing its support for those seeking effective weight management strategies. Noom has offered branded medications since 2023, and this latest integration further emphasizes the company’s commitment to a simpler and more accessible patient experience.

Streamlined Access and Tracking

The collaboration with LillyDirect/Gifthealth will allow Noom members with on-label prescriptions for Zepbound® vials to receive fill-status and shipping updates directly through the Noom interface. This feature aims to improve transparency and convenience for patients managing their medication.

Noom’s Comprehensive GLP-1 Companion

In addition to facilitating access to Zepbound®, Noom offers a comprehensive GLP-1 companion program to support members in making health a habit alongside the medication. This program is designed to improve treatment outcomes and persistence and includes:

• GLP-1 Med Tracker: This feature provides reminders, a medication log, and integrated side-effect support to promote persistence and enhance weight loss outcomes.
• Protein-focused nutrition support: Members receive guidance and tools, including photo meal logging, to support protein intake and preserve lean mass.
• Muscle Defense exercise plan: This plan includes personalized movement goals and accessible resistance training workouts designed to help preserve lean mass.
• Educational resources: Noom provides tailored educational content specific to Zepbound®, including support for Zepbound® single-dose vials.

Availability

The new product integration will begin rolling out to Noom members in mid-April.
