On March 21, NASA’s Glenn Research Center staff joined Great Lakes Science Center in celebrating World Water Day at the science center, home of the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, in downtown Cleveland. Staff conducted hands-on demonstrations highlighting NASA’s Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment during the free day for students.

This interactive activity helped students discover how NASA uses water to regulate the body temperatures of astronauts during spacewalks.
Approximately 450 students and educators attended the event.
