Full Trailer: De Niro In “Zero Day”

Netflix has premiered the full trailer for the Robert De Niro-led limited thriller series “Zero Day”, which will be released on the streaming service on February 20th.

This is the legendary actor’s first foray into series television. In “Zero Day,” De Niro will play a respected former U.S. President, George Mullen, who is called in to help the current President (Angela Bassett).

Appointed as head of the Zero Day Commission, he is charged with finding the perpetrators of a devastating cyber attack that has caused chaos around the country and thousands of fatalities.

As disinformation runs rampant and the personal ambition of power brokers in technology, Wall Street, and government collide, Mullen’s unwavering search for the truth forces him to confront his own dark secrets while risking all he holds dear.

Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen, Connie Britton, and Matthew Modine, with Bill Camp, Dan Stevens, Gaby Hoffmann, Clark Gregg, and McKinley Belcher III as guest stars.

The six-episode series was co-created by Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim, and New York Times writer Michael S. Schmidt. Lesli Linka Glatter directed all episodes. De Niro is also an executive producer on “Zero Day”.
