Toho Animation has released a new teaser trailer for upcoming anime series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. It’ll start airing in Japan on April 7, 2025. He is an ordinary university student whose Quirk lets him glide along the ground, though not very fast. After a chance meeting with a vigilante, he becomes an unofficial and unregistered hero as well. Some characters from the main series make cameo appearances in this trailer, as we see All Might and Eraser Head. A new key visual for the show is also on the website. It depicts Koichi with the other main characters, Kazuho and Knuckleduster, leaping down from the skies while a full moon rises behind them. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is a spin-off and prequel to My Hero Academia. It ran from 2016 to 2022, and had 15 volumes in total.Horikoshi did not work on the story or the art. Instead, Hideyuki Furuhashi (K: Missing Kings, K: Side Blue) wrote it and Betten Court (Spider-Man: Octo-Girl) illustrated it. News of its anime adaptation first came out in late December 2024, at Jump Festa 2025. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will start airing from April 7, 2025.
