Frank Black kicked off ‘Teenager of the Year’ tour in San Francisco (setlist, video)
Frank and his ’90s-era band are playing ‘Teenager of the Year’ in full, plus other solo hits, on tour which will wrap up February 1 in Brooklyn
The Pixies’ Frank Black kicked off his Teenager of the Year 30th anniversary tour on Wednesday night at The Fillmore in San Francisco. (H/t Stereogum.) He’s out with his ’90s band that made the album, and after playing a few songs from his solo debut, including singles “Los Angeles” and “I Heard Ramona Sing,” the band got down to work and played Teenager of the Year in full. He and the band returned for a two song encore, featuring a couple more songs from his debut.
