Geyer Valmont Racing sets driver lineup for Audi Pro-Am effort in Bathurst 12H...
Scott Andrews will join the lineup for the newly renamed Geyer Valmont Racing squad at the upcoming Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour.
The Australian will drive the No. 44 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II for the Intercontinental GT Challenge season opener, teaming up with team regulars Marcel Zalloua and Sergio Pires.
The car, which is set to run in the Pro-Am class, will be operated by Tigani Motorsport, which also runs the Supabarn Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for Luke Youlden, James and Theo Koundouris and David Russell.
Youlden formed part of Valmont’s lineup in last year’s edition of the Australian enduro.
“It’s exciting to be going back to Bathurst in the new-look Geyer Valmont Racing Audi R8,” said Marcel Zalloua.
“We are excited to have Scott join the Geyer Valmont Racing team for this year’s race. I am sure he is coming to win, so we are ready for the challenge and as always keen to take it to the bigger and more high profile teams and drivers.”
Andrews will first contest the Rolex 24 at Daytona with Lone Star Racing, teaming up with Dan Knox, Eric Filgueiras and Ralf Aron.
