12 Years of Priors, AI-Driven Insights, and More from Fujifilm

Fujifilm is expanding its radiology portfolio with new AI-driven tools and cloud-native imaging solutions designed to enhance speed and efficiency for radiologists.

At RSNA24, Sara Osberger, Executive Director of Marketing, introduced Synapse VX, a web-native viewer extension that minimizes latency issues, ensuring seamless performance whether reading from a hospital workstation or remotely.

“We’re focused on making sure speed and performance match no matter where you are,” said Osberger.

Jeanmarie Rogers, Senior Marketing Manager, highlighted new breast imaging features, such as 12-year prior comparisons which provide radiologists with a more complete historical picture [excuse the pun] of the patient and implant suppression that offers clearer tissue visibility.

Key Takeaways

  1. Faster, Smarter Imaging Anywhere. Fujifilm’s Synapse VX ensures radiologists get the same high-speed performance whether reading from the hospital or remotely.
  2. A Clearer View of Breast Health. New mammography tools allow radiologists to compare up to 12 years of prior images and use implant suppression for better tissue visibility.
  3. AI That Adapts to You. The AI Orchestrator lets organizations choose and validate the AI algorithms that best fit their clinical needs. Fujifilm’s open approach means healthcare providers can integrate the tools that work best for them.

Another solution highlighted by the team at FujiFilm was AI Orchestrator, an open technology that allows organizations to integrate and validate AI algorithms of their choice. “We support multiple AI algorithms on a single study, letting customers decide what works best for them clinically,” said Osberger.

With these innovations, Fujifilm is wisely choosing to remain agnostic – maximizing flexibility for customers as different AI algorithms/vendors vie for market supremacy. At the same time, their new features and solutions continues the company’s commitment to streamlining radiology workflows.
