‘Josh Allen flop gif,’ ‘Josh Allen flop vs Rams’ and ‘Josh Allen flopping highlights’ all are recognized by NFL fans across the globe.

To some, it’s a brilliant move that combines NBA artistry with the super-human athletic talent that dominates the NFL.

To others, Mahomes and Allen are allowed to bend (or break) the rules weekly, giving the AFC Championship quarterbacks an extra offensive weapon that is unfair to defenders across the league.

Mahomes’ flopping has become more noticeable during the 2024 season, as Kansas City has attempted to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

The Chiefs spent much of the year as the ‘luckiest team ever,’ winning game after game by super-slim margins.

Against the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round, Mahomes only threw for 177 yards and Kansas City was outgained by 124 total yards.

As Mahomes trotted toward the sideline chased by two Texans defenders, he appeared to trip and fall.

A slow-motion replay showed that Mahomes might have tripped himself and intentionally flopped, in the hope of drawing a penalty flag that would give the Chiefs extra yards and a first down.

“He’s trying to draw the penalty,” ESPN announcer Troy Aikman said.
