Fans all crack the same joke after Logan Paul’s ‘creepy’ backstage exchange with WWE champ
Few can deny that Logan Paul has excelled since turning his hand to professional wrestling. The YouTuber turned boxer and grappler is a former WWE United States Champion who enjoyed a stellar first couple of years in the squared circle. Logan Paul enjoyed a lengthy reign as WWE United States ChampionWWE Making his debut at WrestleMania in 2022 in a tag team match alongside The Miz, he immediately impressed and, since then, has won plenty of admirers for his swift adaptation to life in the unique world that is pro wrestling. A natural villain, Paul’s cockiness and confidence make him easy to dislike, but his tremendous athleticism and ability to perform between the ropes has made him quite the proposition to WWE fans. Just how he views his future is less than clear – talk of a monster meeting with Conor McGregor seems to hint at a spell away from WWE – but Paul himself has spoken extensively about wanting to make a real go of it there in 2025. Nevertheless, he’s one to keep an eye on. What fans perhaps might not have expected is for Paul to thrust himself into the role of the seasoned grappling veteran offering advice to young talent, having worked just 15 matches in his entire career to-date. That’s what fans are taking away from a video that’s surfaced of the 29-year-old backstage at a show, confronting Tiffany Stratton, the current WWE Women’s Champion. In what some are viewing as a fairly awkward exchange, Paul congratulates Stratton – who became champion having previously won and cashed in her Money in the Bank ladder match contract. He then offers up: “I see a lot of myself in you. You’re talented, smart, you got a mean moonsault. If you ever want me to teach you anything, let me know.” Stratton offered Paul her thanks with a polite laugh before promptly withdrawing, wrestling fans typically swift to point out some of the obvious on social media. Though four years his junior, Stratton is undoubtedly the more experienced of the two workers. She made her WWE debut in late 2021 – before Logan Paul – and spent significant time honing her craft in NXT, the company’s developmental division. Logan Paul has never been far from the spotlight since his 2022 WWE debutWWE Tiffany Stratton has made a huge impression since her move up from NXTWWE Stratton was polite in the face of a curious offer from Paul backstagex All told, according to stats website Cagematch, she’s worked in over 125 matches in her career, a century more than Paul, and has boosted her experience with numerous overseas tours, non-televised events and pay-per-views. That point wasn’t lost on fans, one of whom said: “Him? Teach her?” Another blasted: “Funny thing is she’s probably put more hard work in the ring than he has. She might can teach him a few things.” A third blasted a little more firmly: “Dude should stop talking like he’s some wise veteran. He’s still a rookie part timer.” Some of the more mischievous viewers had something cheekier in mind after seeing the exchange, however, quick to point out that Stratton is dating fellow WWE star Ludwig Kaiser. Posting a clip of Kaiser beating up a wrester, one fan quipped: “[This is] Ludwig the next time he sees Logan,” a second saying: “Just a little creepy, not fancying Logan’s chances against a mad [Ludwig]!” Another shared a view of Kaiser’s impressive physique and joked: “It’s good wholesome interaction but people are looking into it like Logan’s trying to hit on Tiffany. She got a real man at home, haha.” Stratton defeated Nia Jax to win her championship on SmackDown earlier this month and successfully defended it against Bayley on last Friday’s episode. Quite how much WWE fans will see of Logan Paul in the coming years remains to be seen, but one thing is crystal clear – It’s ‘Tiffy Time.’
