The 50th anniversary celebration of Saturday Night Live is in full swing, with a four-part documentary series on Peacock along with the Questlove-directed full-length documentary about the music of SNL that just aired on NBC this week (and is also on Peacock). Now they’ve announced the star-studded ‘SNL50: The Homecoming Concert,’ which happens Friday, February 14 at Radio City Music Hall. It will livestream on Peacock beginning at 8 PM Eastern and will also be shown in select IMAX theaters at Regal Cinemas.

Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the concert will feature performances by Lady Gaga, David Byrne, Eddie Vedder, Bad Bunny, Jack White, DEVO, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, The Backstreet Boys, Brittany Howard, Brandi Carlile, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, The B-52s, The Roots, Jelly Roll, Mumford & Sons, and Arcade Fire. (How is Justin Timberlake not a part of this?) Mark Ronson is co-producing the concert with SNL creator Lorne Michaels and it will also incorporate classic SNL musical skits.

The concert happens two days before the big 50th Anniversary SNL special will air live on NBC on February 16 at 8 PM Eastern. NBC is also re-airing the first-ever episode of SNL on February 15 at 11:30 PM Eastern.

Meanwhile, there is also Live from New York: The SNL50 Experience, which is at 45 Rockefeller Plaza now through February 2 and promises to “give fans a taste of what it’s like to host the iconic late-night show.” Here’s more: “From walking through the main stage doors to rolling a chair up to the Weekend Update desk, every guest will experience the on and off-camera magic of SNL with unexpected surprises, exclusive content and giveaways, and opportunities to celebrate 50 years of memorable sketches throughout their journey.” More info here.
