Kevin Devine releases new song for wildfire relief, playing NYC with Stars tonight

Kevin Devine has released a new song to help raise money for Bandcamp’s California Wildfire Relief Fundraiser, “Negative Conviction.” In a statement accompanying the song, he said he wrote it just two weeks ago and “it felt like something to document quickly and let people hear.” It’s a lovely solo acoustic song that offers some solace amidst tough times (“it’s okay if you’re afraid of what’s to come”), and you can hear it below and download it for $1 or more at Bandcamp.

Hello,

For the first time in a while, we’re participating in Bandcamp Friday, with a new song.

I wrote “Negative Conviction” two weeks ago and it felt like something to document quickly and let people hear.
