YHWH Nailgun announce debut album & tour, share “Sickle Walk”

Brooklyn experimentalists YHWH Nailgun have been rolling out singles from their their debut album and now they officially announced it. Titled 45 Pounds, it comes out on March 21 via AD 93 / Many Hats (pre-order), and it features recent singles “Penetrator,” “Castrato Raw (Fullback),” and “Tear Pusher,” along with the just-released “Sickle Walk.” The new single is a dark, percussive, industrial-tinged track that kinda sounds like the middle ground between Xiu Xiu, Talking Heads, and the latest Kim Gordon album. It’s cool stuff and you can check out the song and its video (by Rich Smith & Zack Borzone) below.

YHWH Nailgun also announced a North American tour, kicking off on April 11 at Philly’s Ukie Club and wrapping up in the band’s Brooklyn hometown on May 16 at Elsewhere Hall. All dates are listed below.
