MALAYSIA. Today’s image selection comes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, where Malaysia Airports has unveiled ‘Oriental Rendezvous’ – an immersive showcase inspired by the charm of Old Shanghai. 

The campaign brings the spirit of Chinese New Year to life with a Malaysian touch through grand decorations, cultural performances and exclusive retail promotions.

Malaysia Airports, in partnership with UnionPay, is offering exclusive promotions at Kuala Lumpur International Airport until 20 February.

The ‘Lunar Luxe’ offer allows customers to redeem exclusive tea canisters when they spend a minimum of RM2,388 (US$540), or RM1,888 (US$427) via UnionPay, in a single receipt.

Meanwhile, the ‘Prosperity Angpow’ promotion rewards passengers with a set of elegant red envelopes for a minimum spend of RM388 (US$87), or RM288 (US$65) with UnionPay.

Adding to the festivities, Tourism Malaysia has partnered with Malaysia Airports at Kuala Lumpur International to surprise arriving passengers with lion dances and special gifts – a lively prelude to Visit Malaysia 2026.

Passengers are immersed in Chinese New Year festivities with a traditional dragon dance
