Alongside the elusive PS5 disc drives, another PlayStation accessory remains out of stock for months on end, causing frustration among players. Yesterday, a number of folks finally managed to get their hands on the PSVR2 PC adapter, which released in August 2024 but is rarely ever in stock.

Looking for PlayStation VR accessory for PC? Act fast

We’re not privy to how Sony is managing some of these stock drops (the 30th anniversary items are still popping up here and there), but we do know that the PSVR2 PC adapter was nowhere to be seen for a long time. So those who want to get their hands on one should act fast because we don’t know when the next stock drop will be.

At the time of this writing, we can confirm that PS Direct and Amazon have the accessory in stock, with some reports of retailers like Target and Best Buy having a few units in store as well.

Sony released the PSVR2 PC adapter to expand the VR headset’s library following lackluster support and equally lackluster consumer response. Former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida acknowledged the headset’s shortcomings in a recent interview, telling fans that he was “sorry for being wrong” about the PSVR2.
