GILLIAN WELCH & DAVID RAWLINGS
Gillian Welch & David Rawlings have added more dates to their upcoming North American tour, including second nights in NYC (Carnegie Hall on May 8) and their hometown of Nashville (Ryman Auditorium on May 23). They’ll also play the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in June. All dates are here.
DURAN DURAN
New wave icons Duran Duran have announced summer UK/EU tour dates that include stops in Copenhagen, Rome, Milan, Dusseldorf, Dublin, and more. Nile Rodgers & CHIC will open all shows.
FKA TWIGS
FKA Twigs’ new album Eusexua is out Friday and she’s just added more US dates to her tour.
JAMIE XX WILDFIRE FUNDRAISER
Jamie xx will be playing a benefit for LA wildfire relief at Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall on January 24. All proceeds go to California Fire Foundation, Extreme Weather Survivors, and ClientEarth.
FIREAID
FireAid, the tandem LA wildfire benefits happening on Thursday, January 30 at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA, has announced the star-studded lineups for each venue.
‘THIS IS LA’ WILDFIRE BENEFIT
A number of West Coast, mostly-LA-based hardcore bands are coming together for ‘This Is LA,’ a benefit for the California wildfires, including God’s Hate, Rotting Out, Xibalba, H2O, Strife, Downpresser, Zulu, and Watch You Fall.
KRUDER & DORFMEISTER
Chillout greats Kruder & Dorfmeister will bring their K&D Sessions Live tour to the US in late summer.
LUCY DACUS
Lucy Dacus announced her anticipated fourth album, Forever is a Feeling, last week, along with a tour to go with it. Now that presales have begun, she’s added new shows in a couple cities.
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME / PROTEST THE HERO
Between the Buried and Me will play 2005’s Alaska and 2015’s Coma Ecliptic in full on tour for their 20th and 10th anniversaries, respectively, with fellow progressive metalcore band Protest the Hero.
KHANATE
After making their return with their 2023 album To Be Cruel and a set at Roadburn 2024, drone metal vets Khanate have announced their first U.S. shows since making their comeback: Chicago’s Thalia Hall on May 30 and NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on June 3 with Mick Barr, surrounding their previously announced set at Toronto festival Prepare the Ground.
BEACH BUNNY
Beach Bunny are finishing up their third album, and they’ll be on the road in April, May, and June with Pool Kids, Jayla Kai, and Scarlet Demore.
KRAFTWERK
Kraftwerk are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Autobahn on tour this year, and they’ve added some new shows.
SLIDE AWAY NYC & LA
Slide Away, the shoegaze “festival that celebrates itself” created by Nothing, will hold NYC and LA editions this spring. Whirr are returning to the stage for their first shows in a decade to play both editions along with Nothing, Swervedriver, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (NYC only) and more.
COLLAPSED SKULL / KIDNAPPED
Full of Hell offshoot Collapsed Skull and Connecticut powerviolence band Kidnapped are playing three Northeast shows together in February, kicking off at Brooklyn’s Gold Sounds on February 21, also with Blame God, Death Certificate, and Z.O.N.E. on the bill. Before that, Kidnapped play another show at Gold Sounds on February 8 with Livid, Groin, Half/Cross, and Broken Body.
COMBUST
Having just played Meadows over the weekend, NYHC band Combust have now announced a release show for their upcoming LP Belly of the Beast happening on March 29 at Gold Sounds in Brooklyn with Illusion, Burning Lord, Bazooka, Fatal Realm, and All 4 All. Tickets at door.
JACK WHITE
As a warm-up to his upcoming tour, Jack White is playing Anaheim this weekend which will benefit wildfire relief.
PHISH
Phish have announced a spring West Coast tour and will donate $300,000 to wildfire relief efforts through their The WaterWheel Foundation non-profit.
BILLY IDOL / JOAN JETT
New wave vets Billy Idol and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will be touring together this year.
FANA HUES
Fana Hues has announced the Matters of the Heart tour, which kicks off March 14 in Chicago and wraps up April 8 in Los Angeles. The tour’s NYC stop is Baby’s All Right on March 19. PAMÉ opens all dates.
ADRIAN YOUNGE
Adrian Younge will tour for his new album with a 10-piece mini-orchestra.
MSPAINT/DAZY FREE NYC SHOW
MSPAINT and Dazy will play a free show at Baby’s All Right on January 31 with AMI. Secure your free tickets here. That’s immediately after the Great Grandpa show happening earlier in the night at Baby’s. Make a night of it!
After that MSPAINT, Dazy and Great Grandpa will all head to Boston for Run for Cover’s Something in the Way festival.
HINTERLAND 2025
Iowa festival Hinterland has announced its 2025 lineup which includes headliners Tyler, The Creator, Lana Del Rey and Kacey Musgraves.
