Leicester City piled more pressure on Tottenham as Ruud van Nistelroy’s side claimed a shock 2-1 away win to climb out of the Premier League bottom three.

Ange Postecoglou’s injury-stricken squad started brightly and took a deserved lead into the break courtesy of Richarlison’s header.

However, Spurs were made to pay for a slow start to the second half as goals from Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss completed a dramatic five-minute turnaround.

The home side huffed and puffed but failed to mount a comeback as they extended their sorry winless run to seven games in the league.
