The Sydney Opera House presents a wide-ranging programme of activities for locals and visitors to celebrate Lunar New Year and help ring in the Year of the Snake.

Lunar New Year at the Opera House attracts up to 25,000 visitors to the site thanks to an extensive range of cultural events that both beguile and teach everyone who comes in.

This year, the programme includes Asian-language tours, a Lunar New Year dinner, special performances by international orchestras, lion dancing and curated culinary specials served in the Opera House’s harbourside restaurants.

That said, the activities offered for the occasion serve as a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the Opera House’s world-class spaces while celebrating the Year of the Snake.
