Get ready for another serving of musical horror comedy, as Troma is cooking up a sequel to Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead.
Poultrygeist 2: The Henpire Strikes Back will be written and directed by Mercedes the Muse, who helmed Troma’s upcoming Rise of the Super Tromettes.
Andrew L. Miller is producing, with Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman (who directed the first Poultrygeist) and Michael Herz serving as executive producers.
No plot details have been revealed, but the sequel promises “more guts, more blood, and more poultry.” If you’ve seen the 2016 original, you know that’s no easy feat.
Jason Yachanin, Kate Graham, Allyson Sereboff, and Robin L. Watkins starred Poultrygeist, in which zombified chickens attack a fast-food restaurant built on an ancient burial ground.
