Sirens acquire Taylor Girard from Fleet in exchange for Jill Saulnier
The Boston Fleet have acquired forward Jill Saulnier from the New York Sirens in exchange for forward Taylor Girard, the league announced Tuesday.

The Boston Fleet have acquired forward Jill Saulnier from the New York Sirens in exchange for forward Taylor Girard, the league announced Tuesday.
Saulnier was a seventh-round selection by New York in the inaugural PWHL draft and earned a two-year contract with the franchise ahead of the opening season.
The 32-year-old recorded two points in 18 games in 2023-24 and failed to record a point in five appearances with the Sirens this year.
Girard was selected in the ninth round by Boston in the inaugural draft and had also signed a two-year contract leading up to last season.
The 26-year-old recorded six points in 23 games with Boston in 2023-24 and has also not recorded a point in their first five games this season.
Saulnier is expected to debut for the Fleet on Jan. 22, against the Toronto Sceptres, while Girard is set to start with the Sirens on Jan. 25, also against the Sceptres.
