Featuring world-renowned premium fragrance brands, the immersive spaces further elevate the airport’s diverse retail offerings

SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free has opened two pop-up stores at Incheon International Airport featuring niche fragrance brands Diptyque and Creed.

Located at its exclusive Shinsegae Zone in Terminal 2, the openings reflect the retailer’s strategy to expand its footprint in the global beauty market while offering a distinctive and immersive brand experience.

Shinsegae Duty Free is leveraging strong demand for Diptyque and Creed to attract a diverse customer base. In 2023, sales for both brands saw notable year-on-year growth, with Diptyque increasing +65% and Creed  +120%, boosted by their expanded presence in online and offline duty-free channels.

Diptyque’s premium offerings

Since 1961, Diptyque has earned a reputation as a premium fragrance and lifestyle brand, known for its distinctive ingredients and artistic designs. The brand’s range of perfumes, candles, bodycare and home fragrances resonates strongly with consumers in their 20s and 30s.

The store design features the maison’s signature oval shapes and green hues, complemented by a mix of wooden and lacquered green furniture.

The pop-up showcases the brand’s best-selling products, along with a selection of fragrances, bodycare items, room sprays, diffusers and car fresheners. It also features a Shinsegae Duty Free-exclusive, the Eau Rose 30ml & Hair Mist Set, a limited-edition, travel-friendly offer.

To complete the pop-up experience, the store offers an exclusive gift-wrapping service, a first for a duty-free store. Additional services include hot stamping for personalised leather bag tags and a lucky draw event with product giveaways.
