Grove Racing has revealed the full driver lineup for its return to the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour month, with Mercedes-AMG factory driver Fabian Schiller joining the team.

German driver Schiller will join father-and-son duo Stephen and Brenton Grove aboard the No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for the Intercontinental GT Challenge season opener on Jan. 31-Feb. 2 as they aim for Bronze class honors.

It will mark Grove’s comeback to the Mount Panorama event after it missed the 2024 running as it completed its switch from Porsche to Mercedes-AMG machinery.

Stephen Grove confirmed plans for a Bathurst 12H return to Sportscar365 last month.

For the first time in the once-around-the-clock enduro, the team’s Mercedes-AMG will be run by members of the Grove Racing Supercars squad, including engineers Jack Bell and Al McVean and technical director Grant McPherson.

“To be back at an event we love, with Mercedes, is something we’ve been waiting for,” commented Stephen Grove. “Missing the race last year was disappointing, but it feels like we’re coming home in a way.

“Having Fabian join us for the race is a huge advantage. His knowledge of the car and its nuances will be invaluable in such a competitive field.”

Brenton Grove added: “It’s going to be a real pleasure to work with the Supercar team for the weekend. I’m incredibly familiar with everyone and all the processes from the Supercar side, so it’ll be nice to experience it from a driver’s perspective.

“We have an outstanding team of people, so it will be cool to show them the other side of Grove Racing. Hopefully, we can achieve some great results.”
