As Japan prepares to welcome the world at World Expo Kansai 2025, the first urban hotel under Patina Hotels & Resorts, Patina Osaka, invites the curious and conscious to be the first to experience the hotel with Patina Imprints – its opening offer which includes an exclusive welcome gift and an Experience Privilege valued up to JPY20,000.

Nestled between the iconic Osaka Castle Park and the historic Naniwanomiya Park, Patina Osaka is a 21-storey hotel that seamlessly integrates with the region’s rich history and culture while delivering transformative luxury hospitality.

Within the embrace of the hotel’s contemporary façade lies a world where time moves at a pace of your choosing. Through the visionary collaboration of Jun Mitsui & Associates Architects and the masterful interior designers at Strickland, Patina Osaka transcends mere architecture to become a living, breathing homage to its storied location.

“Patina” symbolises the graceful beauty that emerges over time, reflecting the timeless elegance that comes with age. By connecting with the land and its community, Patina Osaka aspires to offer an experience that opens new perspectives and creates lasting memories.

Guestrooms
The hotel presents 221 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites. The guestroom interiors are inspired by the rich history and cultural heritage of the land. Crafted with deep, natural wood tones that resonate with the breathtaking views outside the expansive windows, each room offers a serene connection to its surroundings, whether with views of the Osaka Castle Park or the Naniwanomiya Park, guests can revel in the beauty of cherry blossoms in spring or the vibrant hues of autumn foliage.

At 50 square metres, its Deluxe Rooms are among the most spacious in Osaka, thoughtfully designed to combine generous proportions with refined functionality. A tatami seating area doubling as a sofa brings an element of traditional Japanese sophistication to the tranquil ambience. Additionally, all rooms feature yoga mats, underscoring the hotel’s commitment to wellbeing as a central tenet of the guest experience. In addition, 48 corner sanctuaries feature expansive balconies – a rarity in the city – to take in fresh air and stunning park views below.

The Patina Suite, the hotel’s largest offering at 233 square metres, fuses sophistication and elegance. Besides a generous living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a private balcony with sweeping views of Osaka Castle, the Patina Suite also features a steam sauna. The living area is equipped with a turntable and high-quality audio speaker, creating an immersive environment that will delight even the most discerning audiophiles.
