ATLANTA – hihotels by Hospitality International, a leader in franchising conversion and new-build hotels for economy lodging, is elevating hospitality standards with its innovative “Best of the Best” program. Launching January 20, 2025, this voluntary, rewards-based recognition program will distinguish inns, hotels, and suites throughout the hihotels’ system that offer expanded levels of quality and guest services.

Instead of amenity creep and increasingly stringent standards that can lead to higher costs for franchisees, hihotels’ holistic approach to success offers incentives and rewards to properties that enhance their facilities and guest experience – simultaneously providing access to expanded revenue-generating tools and cost-saving opportunities. This approach encourages quality improvements while maintaining each property’s individuality, creating a path that leads naturally to business growth.

“We’re empowering our properties to be the best they can be,” said Chris Guimbellot, President and CEO of hihotels. “Our franchisees appreciate the flexibility to determine what works for their properties, tailored to their customer base and market, rather than being bound by mandates.”

Best of the Best-certified properties receive heightened visibility across hihotels’ booking channels, expanded marketing reach through newsletters and social media, increased co-op funds, exclusive vendor discounts, and enhanced personalized support from the team to identify and capitalize on both local and national business opportunities. It’s a program that rewards excellence while providing practical resources for continued growth.

To qualify, hotels must become certified by meeting reasonable quality standards across key areas of service/operations, starting by achieving an “A” on their QA score, participating in all central reservation system (CRS) channels, and supporting the loyalty program. They must also meet a selection of “a la carte” requirements that range from taking training courses to enhancing FF&E. The program offers both virtual and in-person assessment options, allowing hotels to choose the evaluation method that best suits their needs.

“With the Best of the Best program we’re not just recognizing excellence, we’re investing in it,” added Guimbellot.
