Sunrise and Khara announced that Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- has grossed over $3.8 million in the first three days after the movie launched in Japanese theaters on January 17, 2025. The exact amount of revenue in Japanese yen is ¥598,832,300 with 352,522 tickets sold at 426 theaters in the country. Sunrise has also published a new Promotion Reel video for Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- on the Japanese official Gundam Channel on YouTube. It shows how the Mobile Suit-based clan battles take place in a parallel version of the Universal Century timeline, with Zeon officers overseeing the matches.
