According to the rumors, Samsung is expected to introduce a new Galaxy S25 model this year. This is rumored to come in the form of the Galaxy S25 Slim, an ultra-thin version of the phone, but now the latest reports claim that the handset might actually end up skipping the US market.

According to an exclusive report from PhoneArena. The publication’s source told them that the US market might not be in the cards for the Galaxy S25 Slim. Their source listed 39 countries and regions where the phone will be available in.

This includes Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Caucasus, Croatia, Egypt, France, India, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia/Montenegro, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Srilanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam

It is unclear why the handset is skipping the US market. However, it wouldn’t be the first time Samsung launched a phone outside the US. This includes the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The handset only launched in China and South Korea and is a thinner version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Either way, it’s only a rumor for now so take it with a grain of salt. We should have the details once Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S25 series on the 22nd of January.
