Searching for a late-winter or spring break getaway? Now’s the time to snag a deal with Delta Air Lines’ three-day flash sale on award travel to Europe.

Sample fares
To book, head to the SkyMiles Award Deals page at delta.com. Select your departure city, and then you’ll see the list of award deals for select European destinations. The lowest rates can be found departing from larger airports like Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
However, this flash sale is not just limited to hub airports or large cities. Deals can also be found at smaller airports like Eastern Iowa Airport (CID), Dayton International Airport (DAY) and Pensacola International Airport (PNS), albeit at slightly higher rates.
The deals page does not seem to have a comprehensive list of sale flights. You can also search for your departure city and destination right from Delta’s homepage to see if a deal is available. Select “My dates are flexible” to see the lowest-priced award flights within the time period of Delta’s award sale.
For example, searching for a flight from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL) to Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO) brings up a few basic economy options for as low as 36,000 miles round-trip, even though Rome is not on the promoted list of destinations.
And flights from Dallas to Rome are as low as 54,000 miles round-trip for a Main Cabin award.
