Day 1098 : Runnin'
liner notes: Professional : Not as a productive day as I would have liked. Got to meet with some team members. Responded to some community questions and made a little progress on this sample application. Personal : So, I got the smart lights set up. Was way more difficult than I would have liked. First, I need a hub or something. Luckily, I ordered the Google Nest Hub Max with some credits that I had from a trade in. Then the Hub Max wouldn't really work with my Google Workspace account then I had to find out how to grant access. Got that working. After setting up all that, I still needed to add the lights. Each one has a QR that you need to scan to pair it to the Hub. Issue is that the QR codes are on a piece of paper in the box and not on the actual light so I had no clue which code was for which light. Worked my way though that and got things connected. I'm able to turn on and off the lights and change the colors and brightness. Cool. When I turn them off, it looks like one light is still kind of on. Spoke with where I bought the lights from and I'll have to go in and see if I can get it switched out. I was going there anyway to return something else anyway. Just another thing that took up time from getting this shed completed. I really wanted to start working on the shelves for the printers. Runnin' behind. The day flew by. Still need to get my steps in. Going to finish putting together the radio show. Today is J Dilla and Nujabes birthday and normally a play some tracks from them on the show. I want to see if I can make some progress on this client dashboard. As usual, radio show on Saturday at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com and the study sessions at https://untilit.works on Sunday (Should be able to broadcast from the shed). I'm out!
