McGarity was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September, and decided to cut her hair like her favourite UFC fighter, as she was losing her hair to chemotherapy. Prochazka typically rocks a distinctive ponytail during his MMA bouts, but the hair style had notably disappeared ahead of his victory over with Hill at UFC 311. Prochazka has called for a trilogy fight with Pereira The UFC announced during UFC 311 that light heavyweight champion Pereira would be taking on Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313 in March. Prochazka was knocked out twice by Pereira in 2023 and 2024, during a period when the latter also finished Hill to defend his title. Prochazka will now be in prime position to take on the winner of Pereira vs Ankalaev.
