Los Angeles bookers and promoters Sid The Cat Presents are putting on a show to benefit those impacted by their city’s wildfires. It happens on February 8 at Glendale Presbyterian Church, and the lineup includes Andrew Bird, Bright Eyes, David Longstreth of Dirty Projectors, Ethan Tasch, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Kelcey Ayer, Kevin Morby, Lucius, Madison Cunningham, Milk Carton Kids, Molly Burch, Strawberry Guy, Uwade, Watkins Family Hour, and to be announced special guests. Tickets are on sale now., and proceeds go to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which has a natural disaster fund for musicians effected by the fires.

“The Los Angeles wildfires were a profound shock for everyone in the city and beyond, and has meant a lifetime of rebuilding for so many,” Sid the Cat writes on Instagram. “In the wake of such devastation, to see the outpouring of support for each other has given us the greatest sense of pride in the city that we love. That’s why we’re proud to bring you ‘I Love LA’ Eaton Fire Relief, an evening of music and community to benefit the people affected by the Eaton Fire, taking place at Glendale Presbyterian Church on February 8th.”

IHEARTCOMIX, B&L, Another Planet Entertainment, and Teragram are putting on another benefit show, LA Gives Back: Fire Relief, which happens at LA’s The Bellwether on January 29. The lineup is still to be announced, but it’s being curated by Brownies & Lemonade, A Club Called Rhonda, Emo Nite, Pangea Sound, Electric Feels, Heav3n, Ninja Tune, Lights Down Low, Shrek Rave, Mad Decent, and Production Club, and it’s being billed as “a night of dancing and relief,” with secret guests. Tickets are on sale now, and proceeds go to California Fire Foundation, Anti-Recidivism Coalition, Pasadena Humane, and MusiCares. Other upcoming wildfire benefit shows happening in CA include Jack White, Jamie xx, and the FireAid shows.
