- ECRI’s list of top patient safety threats included two concerns with clear ties to healthcare IT: Insufficient AI governance and cybersecurity breaches.
- The EHR Association responded to OCR’s proposed rule to strengthen security for electronic PHI, generally agreeing with the specificity of requirements while worrying about “the substantial time and cost required for EHR developers.”

- Accenture research found disconnect in who’s responsible for leading generative AI efforts in healthcare, with 28% of CEOs saying it’s their role but only 5% of other executives saying the CEO should be in charge. Also, only 10% of orgs have invested in infrastructure to support enterprise-wide generative AI deployment.
