News
Oracle Health was hit with a data breach, with the news site BleepingComputer reporting the breach affected legacy Cerner data migration servers. The attacker used compromised customer credentials to gain access sometime after January 22, and Oracle Health noticed the breach on February 20. The company is under fire, with a class action lawsuit filed against Oracle in Florida and an FBI investigation underway.

- A survey from ixlayer and Ipsos found 81% of patients with chronic conditions said pharmaceutical companies should provide resources to help them get the care and medicines they need.
- More than 80% of healthcare and life science executives expect AI and cybersecurity to dominate the investment market in 2025, according to a BRG report.
- More than 60% of IT executives said getting the most of their IT purchases is their top goal for the year, according to the latest health IT industry outlook report from Stoltenberg Consulting.
- A careviso survey found 63% of patients are billed more than their initial cost estimate, and nearly 98% of patients who receive a cost estimate experience unexpected costs.
