One patent doesn't prove Apple is making a device, but a whole series of them repeatedly applied for does suggest that we really could see a MacBook Pro you can wirelessly charge your iPhone on, while you sketch with your finger.Apple does apply for countless patents every year, and a very great number get granted. Often it just means that Apple is exploring an idea and does not mean that there will ever be a product.That's still the case with the "Device having integrated interface system," which was granted in June 2022 but Apple has now applied again for a patent. There's no immediately obvious difference since the granted version, but companies can re-apply for many reasons, including correcting errors, however small they may be.Then in this case, it isn't just that Apple has once more reapplied for a patent it already has, it's that this particular one has history.
