WM Phoenix Open 2025 Golf betting preview Welcome to the WM Phoenix Open – the loudest and most attended tournament in world golf. The infamous par-3 16th hole is the epicentre of the chaos. It’s surrounded by 20,000 spectators and many of them have had far too much to drink. They can be viewed as great fun and a sight to behold or perhaps something less complimentary.  As Billy Horschel said a few years ago: “You have some fans that are not just idiots but absolute complete idiots out there, saying the dumbest things in the world.” Free Bet Offers Check out all the best betting offers available from our partners Claim Free Bets here 18+ gambleaware.org T&Cs Apply It pays to embrace the chaos and players often throw sports memorabilia into the baying masses.  If you spot some locals wearing Sheffield United tops, that’s because Matt Fitzpatrick once hurled a bunch of Blades’ shirts into the crowd.    TPC Scottsdale, situated in the Arizona desert, measures 7,261 yards and has a par of 71. It was the scene of Scottie Scheffler’s first PGA Tour win in 2022 and he returns to try and claim a third win there after also defending the title in 2023.  WM Phoenix Open betting tips. 18+ BeGambleAware.org – Please play responsibly. WM Phoenix Open 2025 Golf betting tips Billy Horschel the best each-way bet A home American usually wins this event (14 of the last 17 have gone to US players) and Scottie Scheffler may be hard to stop as he seeks his third win here in the last four years. However, the 14/5 is a very short price so I prefer to have an each-way punt on a player at much bigger odds. And that man is the aforementioned Billy Horschel. Horschel may have given a withering assessment of some of the fans but despite the raucous atmosphere at 16 where he’s often got it in the neck, the veteran points out that his record on that hole is better than anyone’s. An extrovert character with a thick skin, Horschel relishes the vibe and it’s shown in his results. He’s made his last 10 cuts at this event and in the last five years has a sixth and a ninth.  A winner of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in September, Horschel flashed more good form at Pebble Beach last week when tied ninth. He looks a strong each-way bet at 66/1 with Sky Bet, who pay eight each-way places (1/5 odds).  Take Billy Horschel in an each-way bet with Sky Bet Tom Kim to beat Sepp Straka Taylor Pendrith won our 72-hole match for a second straight week when easily beating Corey Conners by 13 shots at Pebble Beach. For Phoenix, I’ll back Tom Kim at 17/20 with Ladbrokes to overcome Sepp Straka. The lively, excitable Kim was seventh at Pebble last week and loves the atmosphere here. He showed it 12 months ago when playing some great stuff over the final 54 holes to finish 17th. Straka, a more reserved character, has poor course form of MC-MC-66 and although he’s been in great nick the Austrian tailed off badly when in contention at Pebble on Sunday. Back Tom Kim to defeat Sepp Straka at 17/20 with Ladbrokes Sam Burns for Top 10 Sam Burns looks set for a big week soon after finishes of 8-29-22 in three 2025 starts. And having made the top three here last year and sixth in 2023, this gives him a great chance to shine. Back Burns at 13/5 with Betfred to finish in the top 10    How to watch the WM Phoenix Open 2025 Venue – TPC Scottsdale, Phoenix, Arizona Date – Thursday 6th February – Sunday 9th February Broadcast – Full coverage on Sky Sports Golf: Thursday & Friday 2.15 pm – 1 am, Saturday 4 pm – 11.30, Sunday 3.30 pm to 11 pm.
