Watch Doja Cat play ‘The Sims’ to celebrate 25th anniversary of iconic game

Doja Cat joined the 25th anniversary celebrations for The Sims last night with a chaotic stream of the hit game.

The Sims originally launched on February 4, 2000 and went on to become one of the most popular games of all time. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, developers EA re-released The Sims and The Sims 2 on PC last week and yesterday (February 4), launched a star-studded 25-hour streaming marathon.

Featuring a number of well-known The Sims creators as well as drag queens Trixie and Katya, the mammoth livestream kicked off at 10pm GMT last night and will end at 11pm tonight.

One of the first people to get involved was longtime fan Doja Cat. “I’ve been playing The Sims since I was nine and I played [all of them], even the ones in the future,” she said.
