Unrest announce ‘Perfect Teeth’ deluxe edition double-LP vinyl reissue

Unrest, the ’80s/’90s DC post-punk band led by Mark Robinson of Teenbeat Records, have announced a deluxe double LP vinyl reissue of their final album, 1993’s Perfect Teeth, which will be out March 28 via 4AD/Teenbeat. Preorders are up. This is the first 12″ vinyl pressing of Perfect Teeth since its original release (there was a 7″ box set reissue released for Record Store Day in 2012).

The original album, which was recorded at Wisconsin’s Pachyderm Studios just days after Nirvana made In Utero there, has been remastered from the original tapes and the double LP set comes with a bonus disc (“Extra Teeth”) featuring non-LP singles, b-sides, and other rarities, plus a gatefold sleeve designed by Chris Bigg who designed the original (which features a photo of Miaow singer Cath Carroll shot by Robert Mapplethorpe).

There are also new liner notes from the band, 4AD founder Ivo Watts-Russell, and Bigg. Check out the tracklist and artwork, along with videos for “Make Out Club” and “Isabel” (the 1992 version is one of the bonus tracks) below.
