And he was delighted, grinning from ear to ear ringside, as the younger Fury took the victory. The referee in the ring scored the contest at 40-37 in Fury’s favour as his undefeated spell continued. The prospect began well in a fluid and neat-moving pattern, boxing well on the back foot. He was boxing in a switch-hitting stance, a familiar sight for a Fury, putting his shots together extremely well early on. His snapping jab was a theme and his damaging shots left his rival’s face reddened and swollen as he landed at will. The British star dominated throughout but Hardy was fired up, and his corner shouted instructions as he tried to stay with his rival. But unfortunately it wasn’t enough and Fury impressed as the final bell sounded to conclude his neat win. He told talkSPORT: “Yeah he’s helped me a lot. “The main piece of advice that Tyson has always given me is that he’s said, ‘you can only do your best’. “And he’s right, my best is going to be a lot, and I’m willing to do what it takes. Fury has a big future ahead of himGetty “I want to take boxing as high as I can and prove to everybody how good I am. “I’ve banked rounds in my first two fights, and I’ve got good people around me. “This is what I want. Bigger shows to put me on, and bigger name fighters to put me against. “It will be better for me as I’m ready to take on anyone.
