Supercomputer makes new Premier League title prediction as Arsenal continue Liverpool hunt
Arsenal closed the gap to six points on Sunday.
The Premier League Supercomputer has made a new title prediction after Arsenal thumped Manchester City and Liverpool beat AFC Bournemouth.
Arne Slot’s leaders produced a 2-0 win over the high-flying Cherries on Saturday, with second-placed Arsenal closing the gap to six points after they demolished champions City 5-1 on Sunday at the Emirates.
Liverpool have 56 points from their 23 matches – and still have a game in hand over the Gunners – with the opportunity to go nine points clear.
But Arsenal star Declan Rice says the north Londoners will continue to push the Reds all the way, as they aim to land their first title in 21 years.
With the Premier League title race heating up, here’s the latest prediction from Bettingexpert’s Premier League Supercomputer BETSiE…
Will Arsenal or Liverpool win the Premier League title this season?
According to the newest algorithm, Liverpool are predicted to win the Premier League title over Arsenal by a whopping 10-point margin.
The probability of Liverpool winning the league currently stands at 92.3 per cent, with Arsenal’s chances of glory much lower at 7.5 per cent.
‘BETSiE ran it’s algorithm to predict how the Premier League will pan out after this weekend’s results that saw Arsenal beat Man City 5-1 and Liverpool overcome Bournemouth 2-0,’ a Bettingexpert spokesperson said.
‘The Supercomputer simulated the league season 100,000 times.
‘The Supercomputer takes into account all match results from last season (across all competitions), pre-season results and the current season as it progresses, projecting the the season based on both pre-season expectations and xG earned both for and against during the season.
‘It now also integrates team financial data and player values from Transfermarkt. This additional layer of data provides a more nuanced understanding of team capabilities and potential performance variations.’
