New Teaser: Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners”

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new one-minute teaser for Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners,” the first half of the clip being a single scene that gives us a good look at Jack O’Connell’s villain character in the film and well as Michael B. Jordan as twins.

The clip promises a new trailer is coming soon. It follows a series of one-sheets released on social media earlier today for the movie, which uses the tagline “Sinners Are Coming” superimposed on the sides of various things, from boxcars and stairs to landmarks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

One of those postings also says, “Sinners Are Coming to the Game,” and shows off a football stadium’s empty seating.

It all indicates the next trailer for the film will launch with the Superbowl in two weeks’ time (February 11th) and likely with a cutdown version airing during the game.

In the film twin brothers (both played by Michael B. Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. That greater evil? Vampires.

Co-starring are Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller and Delroy Lindo. “Sinners” hits cinemas, including IMAX screens, on March 7th.
