While I've always gravitated towards hero shooters instead of traditional, hardcore FPS games, I've always loved Rainbow Six Siege. It has, admittedly, strayed into the fantastical over the years by giving some of its Operators extraordinary abilities, but its core breach gameplay and destructible environments give it its own unique feel. But the game has largely fallen by the wayside, struggling to compete with the likes of Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant.
