Major New Xbox Exclusive Possibly Coming to PS5 Day 1 – Report

A new report claims that a major upcoming Xbox exclusive might release on the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on day one. The game in question is Fable, which is already rumored for the PS5. However, if this speculation is accurate, PlayStation players won’t have to wait to play it.

Why Microsoft exclusive Fable might launch on the PS5 day-and-date with Xbox

According to Vandal, one of the biggest Spanish game publications, Fable’s PS5 development has already begun. The title, which is in development at Forza studio Playground Games, is scheduled for release in 2025.

Unlike in previous cases where games were ported after their Xbox release, Fable is apparently already in development for PS5, which is what Vandal seems to be basing its speculation of the day-one release on. Although the game has not been confirmed for the PS5 yet, Vandal’s sources have corroborated a previous report by Windows Central’s Jez Corden, who claimed that Fable’s PS5 port was already planned.

However, Vandal’s gone a step further to claim that this port is already in production, so waiting for a later launch on PS5 doesn’t make sense.

The new report further claims that Killer Instinct is also headed to PlayStation alongside previously leaked PS5 ports of Xbox games.
