L’Oréal Groupe backs Jacquemus with exclusive beauty partnership and minority investment

L’Oréal Groupe has entered a long-term exclusive beauty partnership with Parisian lifestyle brand Jacquemus, backed by a minority investment to support its independent growth. 

Founded in 2009 by Simon Porte Jacquemus, the brand draws inspiration from the designer’s upbringing in the South of France and various artistic influences. 

Jacquemus has gained attention for its distinctive fashion shows, featuring runways set in lavender and wheat fields, as well as locations such as the Château de Versailles canal, Fondation Maeght and Casa Malaparte.  

Jacquemus has grown through a digital-first approach while expanding into retail to create a physical brand experience. Now, it is entering the beauty space in partnership with L’Oréal Luxe.
