Following up the introduction of its Wagoneer S in Launch Edition trim, Jeep is adding a lower-priced Limited trim to the line.
This will bring entry-level pricing of the Wagoneer S to $66,995 including $1,795 destination. For comparison purposes, the 2024 Launch Edition is priced at $71,995 which is a sum also counting destination. Depending where you live in the country, there could be upwards of three grand on the hood of those 2024 models, by the way.

Buyers of the Limited will find themselves in charge of an EV with up to 45 inches of digital real estate, as shown in these images with tablets for infotainment and climate plus one ahead of the passenger because why not. That latter jumbotron is optional on the Limited, as are a 920-watt McIntosh audio system and so-called Propulsion Boost Package which will be delivered over-the-air and jack output to 600 horsepower but is under a ‘late availability’ disclaimer.
All that gear is included in the Launch Edition, including the 600 ponies, leading us to ask how many horses will be in the Limited’s stable as standard equipment. There is no mention of changes to the battery pack, so expect a 100.5-kWh unit (93.9-kWh net, est.) providing about 300 miles of driving range on a full charge.

As an aside, Wagoneer S is not the best name Jeep could have foisted upon this EV, especially since the Wagoneer and Wagoneer L have absolutely nothing to do with this model. Toss in a Grand Wagoneer plus the Grand Wagoneer L and you’ve a muddled picture. In our jaundiced eyes, it would have been far better to simply called the regular-length model Wagoneer, extended-length the Grand, and this EV something else entirely. Even reviving the Commander name would have been better. This is all likely another consequence of being managed for ages by Clueless Carlos, the departed CEO who it has been revealed was behind dropping the Hemi V8 from the Ram 1500 pickup truck.
But, alas, we’re not at the head table of marketing teams at a Detroit Three automaker. This shift in price point is hand-in-glove with Jeep’s newfound desire to stick MSRPs on its vehicles which are grounded in reality instead of pumping them to dizzying new heights. New boss Bob Broderdorf has acknowledged recent missteps in terms of pricing and is set on fixing those mistakes, which should be a step in the correct direction for righting the ship.
