On January 24, 2025, Mr. Munkhjargal Purevjal, CEO of Hunnu Air LLC, announced that the airline has signed a lease agreement for two Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The planes will be delivered directly from the manufacturer to Hunnu Air in April and October of 2025, respectively.
The Embraer E195-E2 is a modern, environmentally friendly aircraft designed to offer passengers exceptional comfort. It features low noise levels in the passenger cabin, with an environmental impact of 75-80 dB. Additionally, it emits less carbon dioxide and has approximately 20% lower fuel consumption compared to other aircraft of similar capacity.
With the addition of the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, Hunnu Air plans to increase capacity to key tourist destinations in the free trade zone of Hainan Province, including Haikou and Sanya in China, as well as Phu Quoc in Vietnam. The airline will also expand its services to cities in Japan, China, and South Korea, which it currently serves with both scheduled and charter flights. Additionally, Hunnu Air is planning to introduce scheduled flights to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in 2025.
