H2O’s ‘F.T.T.W.’ gets 25th anniversary reissue with color vinyl & unreleased demos

NYC melodic hardcore vets H2O are celebrating the 25th anniversary 1999’s Faster Than The World (aka F.T.T.W.) by bringing it back to vinyl for the first time since its initial release and pairing with it with the first-ever release of the album’s demo sessions that were engineered by Rancid’s Tim Armstrong. The reissue comes via Bridge Nine, and we’ve got an exclusive variant, with disc one on opaque yellow vinyl and disc two on opaque green vinyl. It’s limited to 200 copies and you can pick up yours in the BV shop right now.

The album was originally released by Epitaph Records, marking their last album on Epitaph before they got scooped up by MCA, and it was produced by Epitaph founder and Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. It features multiple guest vocalists, including Tim Armstrong, Agnostic Front’s Roger Miret, Madball’s Freddy Cricien, Gorilla Biscuits’ Civ, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ Dicky Barrett, and more, and it includes a cover of 7Seconds’ classic “Not Just Boys Fun” as a hidden track.
