The new system offers a streamlined process for consumers purchasing medications through GoodRx:
- Checks Inventory: When a user searches for a medication on GoodRx and selects Hy-Vee as their preferred pharmacy, the system verifies medication availability.
- Validates Prescription: GoodRx confirms the consumer’s prescription is on file and being filled, ensuring a smooth pickup experience.
- Completes Order: Consumers can pay the GoodRx price online using a credit card or select a pay-over-time option.
GoodRx’s Broader Strategy
This e-commerce functionality is part of GoodRx’s overall strategy to provide digital innovation that simplifies the prescription purchasing process for consumers while simultaneously supporting retail pharmacy efficiency and profitability.
